Got me a Red Bellied Pacu!!!

i just sold 2 of my 15" Pacu...and now i miss them

yeah these guys are small 4 inches. ive had a problem with a 5 inch flowerhorn chasing them. i keep tellin the flower that hes gonna get ate when they get bigger if he doesnt stop. lol the kid that dropped them off at my LFS said they killed his oscar?

I"ve never owned a pacu myself, but i've heard different things about their temperament. Extremes include a small pacu almost killing a red devil, and a 2 foot pacu living peacefully with neon tetras.

i have two red belly, and they are aggressive to new tank mates at first, i think the black pacus are less annoyed with new tank mates....not for sure,just an opinion! they love frozen shrimp,cichlid pellets,flakes,some times feeders too,when i put a dozen in for the gar, i have to feed them first so they dont eat the gars feeders..

did the pacu come with a saddle for kiddie rides? LOL

I think I've got a few pacu saddles lying around....

yeah these guys dont show aggresion towards other tank mates only to each other. Their always swimmin around goin at each other but i guess it just play because theres no real damage.
