few questions then pics

anyone got info or a good link to what to feed these guys when they get bigger?
feeding veggies makes me go

also,one has red on its lip.
been doing salt for the ich and it hasnt helped.
any clue on this?

one only eats flakes,the other eats brine shrimp and flakes.
can you tell by size and color what one eats the brines?
odd one wont eat brines right?brines have to be better then flakes.lol
and is it normal for one to grow faster?they were the same size when i got them.lol
and one has black on the tail fin,other doesnt.
male and female maybe?

Try baby cichlid pellets ..also later it is easy.. pellets,small grapes,cut in half when they are still small..easy to take out if they don't eat it right away.. small little pieces of carrots..may be parr boiled in microwave until they have better choppers.. squash..small pieces and tiny piece of banana .. freeze dried krill, shrimp, algae wafers.. are all the things they will eventually love ..i do not know why one has black on the tail.. and one doesn't..very unique because you will always tell them apart.. my one pacu did grow faster then the other and also did eat more..so i always thought the larger one was the male and female smaller and less aggressive with food.. they make my heart melt..they are truly gorgeous babies.. infact i do not think i have ever seen them so small..and so perfect.. awesome !

so one of yours grew faster,but it was close to the same size right?
i dont want a monster and a baby.lol
i was going to get 3 incase one passed but i dont need 3 if they all made it.

and on size
it took 2 weeks for lfs guy to get these.
he kept saying all he could get were some this small.
i kept telling him,good! i want them small to see them grow.

you will be so impressed by their growth! i tried raising one 2 years ago, but got intimidated by the rapid growth rate and gave it away. mine started out at the same size as yours...or mabey a little smaller. anyway in 2 weeks it grew to over 4 times its original size. now it's kind of funny...instead of raising the baby i just kinda got thrown into the mix. i think you will have tons of fun raising them and as said above...they have tons of personality!!! good luck and be sure to keep us updated.
