got a 220 today of craigs list for 700 full setup and a crap load of decor...

only thing is now i cant afford the floor jacks so i cant set it up

sweet deal tho

Right on, that 280 might be junk. You can't always wait for a better deal. If you are happy with the 220 deal, then it was a great deal. Congrats on the monster tank. My 220 was $500 and it was nothing by the glass and and factory pine stand....not even lids! I guess it did have a painted back, but was sloppy job i scrapped off.

IMO, the floors jacks are a must. I have mine under two floor jacks and a cinder block brace.
 
I got my 240 for 250. It was just the tank and lids and it was broke and I repaired it.. So I say you got a good deal if it came with all the accessories.
 
it was the tank. stand, lids, two 3 foot lights. one 6 foot light. 2 canisters one hang on the back 2 heaters a big bubbler a crapload of driftwood and plants and a bunch of other ods and ends oh and all the gravel that im not gunna use cuz its ugly hahaah sand it is
 
You can find floor jacks at Menards for about $30-$50, depending on the height you need. If they are on sale, they might be $20-$40.

Two would do the trick. They are rated for thousands of pounds each. You can get a 4x4 or 6x6 and make a crossbeam to use with them.
