he was unstable all day and hid
but i had this red breast sun fish on hand and i tossed it in with him to see if he just was scared as soon as the fish swam past him he whent stable almost instantly and started schooling with the sunfish

they are the same size right now but the sun fish is a nipper so i took him out and tomorow am gunna buy tiger barbs to keep the dat from stressing about being alone and when he ends up eating them.... just another meal i need not prep 4 him

befor and after!
so i think ill pick up some tiger barbs or clown loachs to keep him company

tiger barbs work if the dat is small...

imo, not good to starve if under 4''.....im givn mine live so thet grow a bit...

I starved my 3 inch Cambeli straight away on the first. Took 9 days, now he is eating like crazy: - Hikari Sinking carnivore.

no need for feeders.

I think it will be fine..I've starved 1's smaller than that in the past..For me it only took about a week or 2 b4 they were eating froz krill or bloodworms.
IMO the Ntt's are harder to train to pellets. My IT's love the Hikari foodsticks, but only 2 of my Ntt's eat the foodsticks..The Ntt's prefer froz krill, shrimp, and tilapia fillets..IMO

I think so gangster, it all comes down to your own will power....most people give in after 1 week.
Usually after 4 weeks the tiger will give in.
Just remember, u can always chuck on something it will eat if your worried about it dieing from starvation, but after that , carry on starving.

I do recall bitter aspects losing an ngt to starving, but that is only once, I have heard of this happening, compared to tons of success of converting dats diet, as posted by many members.
Main thing is U are in control.

6 out of my 11 dats eat hikari now.
I'll post again when all 11 are on pellets.

i was looking at his belly and it was thin i decided to feed him some ghost shrimp (witch he gobbled down so fast) then after i will start the pelett starving
i didnt want to start where is dont know when he last ate

also i got a loach a little longer then him today and he follows it eeeevvverery where
he made a friend
