I got my first car about 4 months ago, too. it's pretty old, but an import.
it's a 1980 toyota celica supra.:headbang2
I'd rather the mustang if it was in good shape, need pics!

Congrats! Definately a cool car. Remember, if you can't be fast, be pretty, if you can't be pretty, be loud.

A little warning, IIRC, the trunk floor IS the gas tank. Don't get rear ended! I've read a few horror stories of gas tanks filling the cabin upon being rear ended!
 
good for you man. i love mustangs. here are my projects.
1964 1/2 mustang. 289 High Performance. rated at 271hp. 4 spd 9" rear with 4:11 gears.
the car is bone stock, but needs quite a bit of restoration work.

sorry for the gigantic pic. also that my other project in my avatar. 1985 chevy s-10 longbed. body dropped to the doors. currently running 2 hydraulic pumps but replacing that with airbag suspension. all work done by me and my brother. also got a 1989 Isuzu imark non turbo with the Lotus tuned suspension and recaro interior.
 
Good luck with it. I don't remember where in FL you live, but if you need any help working on it lemme know. I've been working on Fords for about 15 years now, hence the screen name. And yes, I know a few things about working on the older Stangs.
 
You lucky *&^$ I had a thing for old American cars a few years back but Mopars were my thing :D a bad picture of my 73 charger 340 manual with magnum shifter had straight through pipes on it I used to set car alarms off with it:naughty: .
