Got my first kayak!

Ive always wanted to get into Yak fishing but never really felt like dropping the coin on something that forced me to paddle! But today was my lucky day. I got a 12' Ocean Kayak Scrambler XT. The boat came with a drift sock, insulated fish bag, seat, paddle, two life vests, cooler with rod holders, anchor and anchor trolley and even a brand new JBL spear gun all for $220!

Too bad its a bit cool for yakking but this weekend its suppose to be back in the 70's so Im gonna hit the water and pray I dont flip it. The fish better fear me because now I can get them from my boat, the pier, beach and now my yak!

No kidding. The spear gun retails for $250 and its brand spanking new! I cant wait until it warms up to do some free diving.

Im actually pretty nervous about using it the first time. The water is too cold to be taking an unintended drink, but hey, no guts, no glory.

I might take it to my aunt heated pool and learn the tipping point and practice get back in it while treading water.

AAHHH I miss my Kayak...It was the closed top kind...used to take it out on the bay and threw some lakes.....stupid ex taking them >.>
