Very nice scarlet's bro
Can you be the first to upload a short movie of them ??

Crappy blackberry camera made the tank look dirty but they are in there caves 98 %of the time i figured snap it quick while he was out.

Awesome plecos.....I want some so bad !!!

congrats on the L25s! really impressive fish! be sure to provide a heater since they come from the xingu river which is warm water. also provide secondary filtration & a good powerhead. timely water changes & adequate feedings are necessary. I know of a guy who changes water once a week with 50 % water changes. these fish are meat eaters so if the water smells bad dont hesitate.

There will be more and more showing up here and there.
Just make sure you're get them from a good source so they aren't sick or something.

You wouldn't like to pay a three, or four figure number and have them dying in your tanks.
There are great vendors in MFK, just do your research first and don't rush.

Tip on sexing. I always recommend to my customers to give me them a few months to recover.
They are hard to sex even after few months until they reach maturity.

I'll say at about 6-8" you should be able to have a better idea on their gender.
Few of my customers have claimed that males grow faster and females much slower.

Keep us up to date with your new project.
My hope is that more and more decide to breed these beautiful species.

Just make you to buy 7 pointers.

Thanks guys...so far so good. They seem to be doing good and getting along. As far as pics they are never out during the day always in there respective caves. The only time i get a glimpse is if i turn the room light on at night and its usually them scurrying back to there caves!

They are still in quarentine in a 55. I was going to put them in a established 150, but I am looking at a 210. My question is in the 210 how compatible would they be with other plecos? I have a 5 inch watermelon and 6 inch blue phantom ( l128?) Do you think they can coexist?
