I have the big orange bag of hichari cichlid gold, frozen brine shrimp cubes, and frozen bloodworm cubes. I've seen people feed there cichlids beef heart too, I'm guessing it would be fine to feed mine that too huh? Are there any certain fruits or veggies they like in particular? And also what about earthworms and crickets...thanks!

You have some beautiful jags man, I read your other post on the male eating all the eggs, I'm very sorry to hear that he keeps doing that:(. They would make some beautiful babies and I would love to own one...one day when I get a bigger tank.

hope all gets better and you have some little fry swimming around soon!

Have you tried what I did with the bloodworms, or it can be their favorite thing to east just hold it with it sticking out a good bit from your fingers at the top of the tank. See what happens...

Another question...at what size did ya'll start to introduce feeders into their overall diet if at all? I'd like to know, none of mine are big enough yet to eat feeders im sure, but I can't wait till the occasional 2-3 being tossed in there to entertain company.:)

Yea most people don't take have the time to learn anything about fish. My friends are already amazed how curious my "new" fish are, as they are always coming up to the front window to check any new person out, and as it seems anyone they dont recognize they like to mouth obcenities at them lol.
