Got my JD & FMs!!

It's been a while since I've been over here, thought I'd post an update. I finally got my JD and FM's today!!!!!!!!!!!! I got 2 FM & 1 JD, they are juvies and small, so I have no idea what sex they are but I thought I'd post a couple pics. The JD has proven to be very difficult to get a pic of and they are not the best pics but I am going to add what I have, when I can get better pics I'll post em!

good looking fish! They'll color up. lookin a little washed out now from stress I bet.

Got a better pic of the Jack? If you get a good shot of its gill plate we can sex it for you.

Thanks!!! Yeah they had just came of about a 45 min. drive from the place I bought them....just a little stressed I think;)
I will try to get a better pic, the JD has been stayin behind the filter or in the driftwood and rocks mainly so he it being stubborn for the camera.
 
you definatly have 1 male FM and if the gill plate of the JD gets blue speckals then its a female but for now id say male and if both the FM's have red or orange on they're stomach then they are male.

both male and female FM's can and will have red/orange throats. the only way to sex them is to either they lay eggs=female or when they are matcure there fin lengh/pointed.
long and pointed/extention=male
short=female
