Got my new jardini today

Looks Nice fin perfect hopefully it'll play nice with tankmates if its been in a cichlid community, did the previous owner say if its pellet trained yet ?

yeah it's meant to eat pellets 4 hours on and the little golden perch are still going and the only damage from the move is a rip in its pec fin which hopefully won't take to long to heal and needs to he fattened up
Very hard to get a pic of this guy doesn't stop moving

It'll heal up quick enough he's a great looking fish though , are you thinking of any tankmates or keeping him solo once the perch disappear ?

Probably just solo for some reason I like solo preditors got mangrove jack in my other tank and 24hrs on and the little perch are still his friends

Lol he may not and up solo then , cool you've got a mj I'd love to have one but you dont see them often in the UK and when they do pop up there pricey

Well think it has finally settled in came home to the jar parading around the tank with a perch in its mouth here's a quick pic you can sort of see its find going a nice golden yellow colour
