Make the most of that mate it won't stay shy for long , in few months you could be off out to buy some thick gloves so you can put your hand in your tank

Seems ok mate swimming around fine bullying stuff im presuming he's either done it fighting or during the move , feeding time later ill try post a vid

What size tank you have him in? I have mine in a 155 gallon bow! Have him about a month now, He's eating everything from pellets to tilapia fillets. I had a silver one once in 72 bow found him on floor dried up he was about 24 inches!

He's in a 5x2x2 planning on building something bigger once I move house , my last jardini was fine in that tank for six years and was 2ft beast I too found him on the floor on a number of occasions there great escape artists and can knock a surprising amount of weight of the lid once they get big

Everything looking OK in the tank the black spots on my jar seem to be fading away slowly so I'm happy , my fh has even started to colour up and stick up for himself for now at least
