good stock mate, wont the lemon barbs be hammered too

Well its always a gamble but he seems to leave the sd's most of the time , so with an upgrade on the horizon im thinking maybe a shoal of 3-4 may be ok , but if he starts ill change it again

Looking good, Evz. How many months is he now?

With the Jardini's that you've had, did you find that they would hit the top of the tank (braces, lids, etc.) when young and scratch themselves up? I really can't lower my water too much without slowing down my return pump (and I don't want to mess with the filtration flow) and my little Lei scuffs himself - hurts me to see that - ouch.

Thanks he's about 14 month now
They do jump there's not much you can do about it just keeping it to a minimum really , I've tried a few things that have chilled them out in the past , lower level , dimmed lights , surface cover (floating plants I used plastic pond lilies) , I still ended up finding them on the floor even with a heavy lid etc so be aware of that they can shift some weight when 24" , the more traffic going past the tank the quicker your aro will settle and be less skittish I've also found
Hope this helps you with your lei , my LFS has got a tiny 3" one in ATM I was very tempted earlier but my mature sensible head kicked in lol ;):D

Yikes :WHOA: Thanks.

I have glass lids/with rubber stops sitting on top of the tank bracing with some acrylic made latches. I see the little guy bump into the braces and/or latches when he's in the go crazy mood. I had expected them to be jumpers, just hope he doesn't hurt himself too much before he get's older - he's got a long ways to go.

I was yelling at my kids for freaking him out, but guess I'll encourage them to carry on...LOL.
