Got my parrots from Rapps.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The parrots are soooo agressive to their own kind if they were in a tank full of them they probably beat themselfs up

sould heal up fine but for how long if you have 2 males who knows

Looks way more healthy then the parrots I see often :) The fin damage looks very fresh. Were they shipped in the same bag?

I had six adults in 90 gallon tank, tank spawned by a guy in New York.

They were not aggressive at all amongst themselves.

Different sites list them as peaceful to each other/aggressive to others, conspecfic/non-aggressive, or Peaceful/Peaceful.

I figured I would try a couple of them, if it doesn't work out then I'll sell one of them. They are about 6-7" right now. I didn't want to stress them too much after their trip so I didn't measure.

The fins should heal fine. the only way you would have permanent damage is if the rays were destroyed. It looks like there's a little fin erosion as well. That could be caused by the stress of shipping. Big fish don't ship as well. Lots of clean water and maybe some melafix.
