got my red devils to breed, BUT a big fry problem... HELP!!!!!!!!

i have a pair of rd's in a 75 gal, the female is 6-7 inches and has laid eggs alot before but they never have been fertilzed, until my 3-4 male (that obviously JUST hit puberty)fetilized them. the 1st wierd thing that happened was when I saw my female full of eggs, with her breeding tube out, just a week and a half after she just laid a batch (wierd because its normally 2 months between a batch of eggs for her). another unusual thing was that she became full with eggs over night. From the time since she was "egging" the male showed little affection for her, other that she didnt pick on him as much, and it looked like him and other tankmate, 4-5 inch male salvini, were fighting for her attention. But there was no cuddling, fanning, or anything else like that with each other from the RDs. Then she eventually laid her eggs and the 2 RDs were protecting them, showing that he was paired for sure. Something else that I thought was odd, was that it took her more than a day to lay all the eggs (she layed about 4-6 different groups all at different times with each having about 40 eggs). I kept eye on the eggs and they stayed white, not the dead color white but the "unfertlized" color white, for about 2 days. then the next day there were no eggs. Yep they were all eaten..... but a closer look i noticed fry!!!!!!!!! But i thought the eggs turned dark when they were fertilized (maybe not for RDs). there was about 200 fry. but afer one day it looked like there was less. then today i looked in the cave where the were layed and it had gravel where the fry were which before then was cleared off and was just glass, and there was only about 20 fry, that I could see!
Im not sure what happened please help! there are no catfish just cichlids but one is a c. sveni and I dont think he ate them but im not sure with pikes.

I know but even if my salvini moves my female darts over 4 ft from the other side to chase him, and I think there might be some dead fry bodies.
 
Crenicichla would be happy to eat any fry. They are pretty much sitting ducks at night. Save what you can and put them into another. If this batch fails, expect more eggs in under 6 weeks.

nevermind, they are all alive! I guess they were all crammed into the corner of the cave that isnt visable. just yeseterday i thought they were all dead then I walked by the tank and there was about 300 fry swimming freely!
 
move them anyways.
