what was supposed to be a 200G with stand and filter thru a friend of a friend turned out to be a 80G Bow front with a Eheim pro 2, 3 tray, and a 4ft T5 system with 4 bulbs. it came fully set up with some africans between 2-5" inches. I spent 3 hours on friday tearing down the set up and getting it into my house. Spent at least 8 hours today cleaning the entire thing. went to big als to see what everything I got was worth and grab some fish. for awhile I didnt know what to do, I had thought so long about communities, salt, africans etc. the set up was eqipped for marine, it came with a full pail of salt, hydrometer, reef solutions, salt water test kit, PH balance etc etc but I cant afford the live rock right now so I decided against it at this point in time. The Eheim Pro 2 I got was going for $235 at Big Als and the T5 lights for $170 alone. The tank has a black wood stand with a black tint front glass opening. theres 60 lbs of rock that used to be live, full of dead corals, amoeba etc now that its a freshwater african tank. another 60 lbs of lavarock, I was debating between doing a SW tank, African tank or agressive community tank. I decided as mentioned I couldnt afford the live rock to go SW, I wasnt feeling a strictly african tank (I already hace a 55G full african set up) so I went with the couple africans I already have, added a silver aro 2.5", 4" green terror, a couple pim cats, spotted raphaels, gibb plecos, apple snails and 4 (1"+) big black tetras and blind cave tetras I already had. so far everything is purrfect, between the baserock and lava I counted at least 40 little cave works. theres lots of room for free swimmers like the pim's that dont wanna bounce off rocks. I cant believe what I got and what I paid, all I have to say is this is why I dont believe in marriage, this woman sold this poor bastards set up for $75 bucks. I actually felt bad for him taking out the fish and disabling the Eheim pro 2

Aren't you worried about the GT eating many of your other occupants?

Also, if the aro survives the GT, it will be much too large for your tank.
