Thanks guys. Now its onto filtration. I went to lowes to try and buy the white crate i see everyone using but couldnt find it. Any tips?

its in the light section at home depot. i assume its in the same spot in lowes. your building a sump?
yep, lighting diffuser.. dont try and explaine what its for.. you get weird looks.. lol. But it will be by the commercial lighting diffusers, not the actual fixtures ( at least not by us ) and i went with the more petite stuff.. pop for the thicker stuff if you can find it. mines already broken from the force of my sump hoses/ micron bag.
Ok I found it at home depot. Got 95% of my plumbing, started on the tank stand tonight, made a few cuts about 1/16th too short so that frame is going on the bottom lol. ya im building a sump out of an old 55g. I bought 1.5'' PVC to make a DIY overflow.
A silver aro, and some ornates or delhezi's. If I get the aro I'll have a good excuse for the wife so I can get a bigger tank. Then probably a bunch of Dithers just not sure what. Maybe a few big oscars. What about a float switch... What do you guys recommend in case the overflow stops. I want the pump to shut off if the water in the tank gets too high.
