That slate gives me so much anxiety lol. Is it glued to the side of free sitting?
 
That looks awesome lol, love your dog! Is that your female GT in the tank? I'm super jealous that you're able to have a GT without it killing everything!

yeah dog was sleeping lol
well gt f is bullying f sev pretty bad so thinking what to do
the boys (gt texas and sev) have a few battles
but my convict bronson is so fat he is so greedy lol
him and top gt juvi have mini fights
that f gt is the juvi gts mum !
 
That makes me feel a lot better, the thought of that slamming the bottom glass or fish is spooky. I think scuffs aren't a big deal with cichlids until it elevates beyond a missing scale here and there. As long as everyone is eating and avoiding infection I don't think it's necessary to intervene. Fish will always test one another in my experience, once one comes out on top of the food chain the rest can fill in nicely. I keep more peaceful cichlids though, and even my red severum has been beating up everyone who gets too close.

don't mess with sevs! they seem the one who'll get bullied but my male sev lip locked with my gt he don't take his crap! though he don't win he'll still give it!:D
