got myself Ornate bichir today:) 10inch

Today i got myself a new monsterfish i already have a 9inch black ghost, and today i got a bichir that someone sold where i live becouse they were gona sell the tank he lived in.
it looks like the Ornate bichir and black ghost getting along well, they share the same black pipe cave i have in the tank. i will post some more pictures of him when he are out swiming.
i only got a 40 gallon tank, but it seems ok for them for now.

Thanks, it is alitelbit foggy in the water now after i removed the sand that were in there, i did it so it is ready for some gravel, it is rounded gravel, probably get it monday. the sand i had were to fine so when the big fishes swim they blow up alot of sand.
here are a picture of the type of gravel im getting, so it is no sharp edges, so think that will work great when i dont want sand.

stick with sand so your bichir dont try and swallow the pebbles. Oh and the bgk will be food eventually may take sometime but it will.

swallow gravel? hm ok i dident know.
but the black ghost is almoast same size and he will also grow more aswell so strange if he would be able to eat him

very nice shots, your ornate wont be able to swallow your bgk, but your ornate would start nipping the bgk which eventually would cause the bgk die.
