Where in Ontario are you from?

I would think that if you got a 40 breeder, sigh, I must say I like the puffers but I know that there are other things to get. I would like to see a good bichir!
 
Moving from Vancouver to downtown toronto, I like puffers also i mean im open to all suggestions for the tank but the limits are the size (40gal) and it will be decorated with large pieces of bogwood from my old tank that look great.

All I cans say that my C.Semifasciata is by far the most interesting fish of the 40+ species I keep. It is the only fish I consider a pet. He comes to the surface so I can stroke his head, or to bite me, depends on the day. There pics of him in my p.gallery but I am a miserable photgrapher, so they don't do him justice.

C.Regani and C.Lenticulata are very beautiful. But I would asume that the dumbest and the ugliest pike is still a genious compared to an Oscar or so.
 
I was considering pikes but all the ones i have seen seem very lazy and skulk in a cave all day but i havent had that much experience of them i grant you
 
just had a thought so i thought id run it by you guys, how about exodon paradoxus anyone with experience of those what size are they and how many would be sensible in a 40gal
 
What about growing up a baby dat in it, if i can get hold of one
 
most stores i know of wont sell snakeheads anymore due to the usual crap about people releasing them. what does the red fin wolf look like anyway? ive always liked dats thought id get acouple of babies and grow them until i get a big tank
 
hi im from canada too! montreal to be exact.
nice to see fellow "canadiens" here. anyway, y dont u get a 55gal the 4x1x1.5 setup.
it looks bigger for its capacity but really its small. i have a silver arowana in it and it gives me all the joy and much more i need/want from it.
i also have 10gal planted tanks. anyway, good luck to ur life in canada.
