The perimeter spotting looks like they could be, but only way to tell is to try to make them monsters and if they don't grow - midgets.
John is a good source for midgets so it's possible......
Have had similar patterned rays and have had them go both ways - male stayed around 10" female went to like 16-17". Really no way to tell for sure except to just raise them and experience them.

Glad to hear your rays are settling in.
They look a nice clean pair of rays given they are wild collected, they are not however what we on here would consider as ultra high quality, they could still change for the better as many Marbles often do but these are no longer pups so I would say any further changes will be slight.
As Alan DBjunkie said, you will have to monitor over time to establish if this is indeed a smaller strain of motoro, for me they do not look typical mini/midget Marbles but hey! they could still be, its a waiting game, the species is massively variable regarding patterns.
