  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
the two eels is what I want to do, they are a must, I could leave out the puffer but would rather not. They arent huge morays, u really think this wouldnt work?

IDK.. im always over cautious with mixing eels.. if you want to try it i am in no position to stop you... i just wouldn't is all

you are after all asking for opinions

lol I know, it could be a risk, more for the goldentail

here the email I got back from them, The whole tank consists of really high quality equipment. It has a really expensive canister filter made by Eheim. The protein skimmer is a Prizm. I have four three foot bulbs in one six foot long light fixture. The lights I have are premium lights that cost $30 a piece. You can buy cheaper ones but I like these and just have a thing about getting the best. I'd estimate there is probably about 50 lbs. of live rock and the gravel is all live gravel. I have wanted to buy more live rock but I only buy pieces that I like the shape/look of and I just haven't found any pieces that I've really liked. The tank is great and I'd never get rid of it if we weren't moving. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks,
Adam

Would one of those expensive eheims handle the bioload that I want to put in?
They say that theres is doing fine and they have quite the bioload.

I would have to replace the skimmer for some other hang on back.

he likes buying the best but bought a prizm skimmer? :grinno:

depending on what model of filter (ehiem makes like 20 different canisters) it could be enough, canisters are tricky as they clog up fast but there are some ways around that...
with out knowing specifically what filter or at least what GPH it's rated for there's really no way of telling...

ya i emailed him back for more info, i think if i offer, im going to offer less than $900

well i can get this setup made deal with my mom for payments,

coralife super skimmer 125 are supposedly very good.. a shop by me uses them on their coral prop tanks..

T5's are a good use for pretty much all tank (stupid sweetang got me hooked on em too)
they are about the same price as PCs but last longer and are brighter

sorry

they state they have a dogface puffer, so if it is then ill keep that along with a few things. I might let it pass though, they have a eheim 2217 canister and the prizm, along with the lights, heaters, stand, tank, other equipment and they dont want to tank less than 900, and i dont want to spend 900 because the filter and skimmer arent the best. I want to offer around $700, which I think is a fair price. They also dont want to meet us not even halfway and since i live around 3 1/2 hours away, i think its a good deal if i put in an extra 30 bucks or so.
