i was able to lay my plan out to my wife today and she said that it was ok with her. i plan to remove one of my 2 ponds and make the remaining one atleast 4x larger and half of it almost 2x deeper. so i will be going from a 2k and a 3k gallon with a liner to a single 15k gallon concrete pond. now its time to rent a mini excavator as soon as the ground thaws.

Post the pics... How did you talk your wife into that? Mine says I can't do a pond until she gets a pool. I asked her to meet me half way lol.
You needed approal? I just started todig in a corner of the backyard. In retrospect i wish i had thought more before starting because a huge drainig pipe limits my possibilities now.
