this is interesting... im gonna put this as simple as possible... those rays are from asia god only knows who or what the original parents are... joys of SP. rays from there... the "mantilla" could have been a motoro x henlei
and a 1000 other combos... keep monthly updates on it... real curious how this ray will turn out

They are supposed to be MM X Mantilla. I have an MM as well that has a lot of belly color, she is pure MM. I am not saying that these crosses don't have black ray in them somewhere, but to say they do just because of belly color is a stretch. I hope they do have other species in them, but I also think Mike knows what he is buying when he buys rays. I have 2 from the same place, and they are much different, they look like the ones that Rat has. How big is the disc on yours?

what they tell mike and what really goes on in there ponds can be 2 different things.... please understand most places in asia just mix all rays in one pond... you cant be sure your ever getting what they say you are from most places...
