Got two Hydrolycus tatauaia, now a question...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I used essentially the same trick to get my scomb off of live. I used a modified Texas rig with a split shot though, the hook (straightened and sharp part removed) was about six inches below the sinker. It worked well for me. I still have it actually.

I'm trying...but I have no sucess yet. Kudas and Tat eating only live fish,...:-(

I'm using 300-350 feeders in a month. $$$$$

Awesome looking Tat. I think you should keep an eye on them and separate if they get aggressive and start chasing each other. They can really shank an eye out. I had a group of them back in the day and ended up with 1.

I have already tried to keep them together, but the bigger one instantly started to chase the smaller one, so i went back to keeping them seperatly.

Just to update the tread: They now eat almost whatever i give them, as long as it have a elongated shape. They will even pick up pieces of food from the bottom - if they are not disturbed by other fishes.
