I'm sure you know this but don't put them in an uncycled tank. It will kinda reduce the chance of survival.

Cycled filter loaded with biomax + 40 gallons of tank water into new tank = instant cycle. All good. Thanks.

They aren't too big. Right around the 5-6 inch mark.

All done wiggling. They're swimmers now. I'll be moving them to a growout tank tonight or tomorrow most likely.

wow its like a little cloud a babies how cute. Nice mom and dad too! my texas almost always has that half black breeding color. It needs a bf/gf

I pulled a few hundred into a growout tank, there's probably still a hundred or so in the main tank but between the pike & the dovii I doubt they'll last too long.
