I have had this tank set up with rocks for probably the last 7 or 8 years....and my tank before that was rock as well.....all because I had the Africans and that is what they liked. Now they are gone so I thought, just like the fish, I would make a wholesale change. For me ,it is really nice having some plants in the tank!
I still have all the slate and all the round rock if I ever get bored, and want to switch it up.
