Got this guy today at petco. hes got four bars on one side and three on the other. this is my second oddbar CL since Wilson who had a W on one side but he didnt make it. What would you call this guys markings?

damn, i work at petco we never get any cool clownloaches in.

i used to work at another LFS and we only got one in. it had 4 bars on one side and a W on the other. it was malnurished with a sunken belly. i took it home and named it Wilson, he dies 2 days later. i have 7 CLs in my tank and been holding out for the eighth until i found something different. i was hoping for a spot but i stopped at petco after school today and saw this guy.
awesome yea i just lost 3 of my 5 CLs to ick. 1 still has it and the other is fine, i really hope they both pull through. One of the ones that died had a spot 
I had a really cool clown loach once, it was striped on one side but not the other, was a real shame though, after a few days in quarentine it become obvious the clown loach had a bad internal parasitic infection, i treated it with meds but it died anyway.
All of my current clown loaches have standard normal stripes, i love 'em to bits but it would still be cool to have another odd striped clown loach like yours again some day

how you treating the ich? salt and ^ the temp?

Yes, 85 degrees with salt. I know they can be fragile with meds so i stayed away completely.
