Yes, 85 degrees with salt. I know they can be fragile with meds so i stayed away completely.

No thats completely wrong- its the opposite way around. Salt is very bad for clown loaches, it puts a lot of strain on their osmotic process and internal organs like kidneys.

See the loaches.com article so see the best way for how to treat clown loaches for ich/whitespot;

"Dose the tank with Ich medication. DO NOT add salt despite the advice that is sometimes given. Generally speaking, loaches can't deal with salt and it ends up being a further stress on them."

Listen to necrocanis for why salt is bad for freshwater fish;

You will put your clown loach through a lot less stress by stopping the salt treatment and using a more loach-friendly anti-whitespot medicine.

no i wish i did though, didnt have a digi cam back then

Damn, that sucks. I was hoping you did. I have never seen one with a similar pattern as my "V" loach.

it was like a V except the 1st and 4th bar touched the V at the top

Wow, that would have been a cool site to see. Here is my v....very similar.

I've never seen any form of clown loaches at ANY LFS apart from the usual 3 bar CL. I would pay top dollar for anything different from the norm.
