he's doing ok
he has ick
my goldfish had it to
lost a red cap oranda this morning
stupid me using the same buckets for different tanks
anyway i'm treating him with salt and the water is 80 degrees so i think the ick will be gone soon
doing 20% water changes a day
it's funny he looks worse after the salt than befor
it's weird when i knew nothing about fish i did better than now
i had 1 3 inch or so lolng oranda, and like 4 black moors in a 10 gallon with a crappy filter and only cleaned the tank when the water got green to the point i couldn't see my fish and i'd scale the gravel, change the filter, and use soap to cllean the tank and fill it up with clorinated water and they did wonderful
now i can't seem to keep fish alive
ick just loves my fish
any ideas on how to get it out of a tank?
i'm tearing down my 55 tomorrow which had ick in it which is why i think my oscar has ick
i'm moving it in here
should i change the gravel or anything?
how tolerant of salt are oscars i've got about 2 tablespoons per gallon in there.
I've been hunting around the net and found this site, great job everyone! =)
I'm looking for ideas for a gothic (Think Scooby Doo classic haunted castle/vampire) themed tank as well. It's a 29 gallon and I don't really have anything in it yet aside from 2 Ryukin and a few loaches. Links to themed aquarium sites and pics of any 'goth' aquarium features would be rockin. I love the idea of sunken LEDs and I'm going to be setting the lighting up accordingly. I WILL post pics once it's done! Help me guru Monster Fish Keepers!
