Hey guys i just bought 4 clown loaches and was wondering where i should put them. the tanks are listed below with the fish currently in them..

75- arowana, 3 large angelfish, few juvi bristle nose plecos, 2 adult bn plecos..

45 - 3 discus, ~20 neon tetras, 4 juvi bn plecos

75 - 6 2 inch rbps, 1 common pleco

29 - arowana, 3-4 juvi bn plecos

125 - 2 18+ inch pacus (trying to find them a new home, 2 10 inch tinfoil barbs.

75 - jd, gt, mang, pair of cons (this tank is really weird... ) 4-5 juvi bn plecos

55 - 5 fancy goldfish, pair of bn plecos

29 - bn pleco fry, 40 neon tetras..

so which tank do you guys think i should put the CLs in??

depending on the size then nothing under the 55, but that looks cold water so that wont be suitable. i wouldnt put them in less but thats just my opinion and they are like orange and black missiles if your gonna have to catch them later to move them to a permanent home.
i would probably go with the 75 with the aro and angels as long as the aro aint large enough to catch them and eat them if they are small.

impulse buy... i figured id have room to put them somewhere...

the clown loaches are 2-3 inches long... my goldfish tank isn't set up as coldwater becuase i have a breeding bn pleco pair in there..

the arow is big enough to eat the CLs but he wont.. the way i raised it i can keep anything in there and not have him eat anything but food sticks..

I have heard clowns can be kept with Aros, but it's a risk for both fish.

Just quarantine them for awhile and plan a large tank for themselves. None of your tanks will accommodate them I'm afraid.

how big do clowns get.... i dont wanna get a whole nother tank for them....

how is it a risk to the arow by having clowns in its tank.. not trying to sound smart or anything... just wondering.. do they suck the slime off or something??

Clown loaches have retractable spines below their eyes. If your aro happens to decide to have them for lunch then it can potentially choke on them. Clown loaches can get to 12 inches but take a long time to reach it. Just from looking at your stock you'll need bigger tanks for some of your fish and not just the clown loaches.
