Not a crowntail, let me try to find pics of my old guy. Wish I still had him but yours looks nice. Not sure what you would call him but def not a crowntail but doesnt look like a regular unless hes severely beaten up

Couldnt find any pics of my old betta but he was a black orchid crowntail and looked just like this pic. Notice how uniform the crowntail is.

thats a double crown tail mate, see how the spikes split like a snake tongue, pretty sure my guy is a crown tail, he isnt beaten up and lives alone!-)
