The OP betta looks like a crowntail lineage diluted with veiltail. Is cambodian, too, from the looks of it. But my betta knowledge is rusty, so take with salt.
 
I agree it's a crowntail but it is not a dragonscale. He's still very pretty, and so are the others in this thread! Would love to see more full tank shots :)
 
Cheers people, what exactly defines a dragon tail? I prefer crown tails like mine im no into the long thin spikes myself (not just saying that cause i have him either!-) I saw him in the shop and he was a instant 'I must have him' fish lol, has real attitude too flares at us as qe walk past lol!

I believe the dragon scale has a high metallic coloring on body. Never heard of dragon tail.
