GOTTA MAKE A DECISION. WANT SOME INPUT

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Since they are all still small they are in a 75 but the 150 i bought on CL cant go up till i get the room

she has her own 30 gallon tank and she bought the ck for me but says that its ok if i get rid of the ck because she knows how much i love wolves. Could be a trap? I would just hate to see it get hurt. I know im gonna have to get rid of the ck eventually tho

If she bought it as a surprise gift or as a act of kindness because you had no fish or anything like that I would try and keep it. Now if she bought it because she wanted it then well, explain to her that anyday we could wake up and it could be dead. Sad, but true if it's that bad.

If it's the first, get rid of the wolf if he is the one attacking the CK if it's the latter put him on Craigslist or MFK or your LFS. That's me, were all different people. It's really up to you dude. I know it's hard getting rid of fish, but just remember their fish. If getting rid of one will make your tank more calm and peaceful then so be it.

I'm leaning towards keeping the wolf fish, jd and the pike. the jd is the only fish that seems to keep the wolf in check and the pike steers clear of the wolf

I once kept a few fish with a Wolf. I had two 9" Oscars, one 7" Koferi and one 8" Pacu and two 5" Spotted Raphael cats in my 125g. Had I not re-homed those fish they would have all been killed. As my Mala grew she got more territorial. The only thing she would cohabitate with was the cats.

thats what scares me. i know that one day the ck will be the same but he will be much bigger than the wolf and harder to re-home when bigger
