I had red and my lil bro got blue when they first came out. Watched the cartoon at the time (and the first movie LOL) as well.

when yellow came out I bought and played that

couple years ago i played one of the new gen ones with different pokemon and I started to play that but got bored. I din't know who any of the pokemon were.
