what is the difference between brave and brainless ??

:iagree:

I have seen the show, and I would say he is educated as he knows (atleast most of the time) how the sharks will react...

I want to try this someday. I don't want to get too close to them though.

Just to be an arse, the shark in the last pic is not a Great White, it's a tiger. :D

i don't think pic 3 is a gw either. Never seen one that shallow before

Im surprised so many people think he is brave....

Its not like he can acclimate sharks to his presence, unlike lions etc. where if you follow them for like years they kinda sorta tolerate and get used to you. That is until they get hungry and eat ya!

Brainless

I understand he loves these animals and wants people to think differently from the Jaws perspective but when he gets attack it'll all go back to step one:ROFL:

that guys got some brass ones if you ask me but I have seen Jaws and even though it's a movie it keeps my ass out of the ocean. I say brainless

It's brave while he's a live. But the day one of those south africans shoots up from the depths and makes this guy look like a baby seal, well, then he'll be brainless.

I love the comment on the bottom about Ritter and how he lost his leg. Almost true. Ritter was attacked by a bull - and afterwards pointed out his own mistakes while watching it over again. Ritter is also back in the water. He didn't lose his leg, just a big chunk of it.

I vote this guy is nuts. Using telepathy to communicate with sharks is the reason I voted that way. If he would have said 'reading behaviors' or something along those lines...maybe ok, I can see that.

You flirt with death, and death will only stay away so long. I take as many precautions as I can when working in close quarters with sharks.

combo of both.... he has some brass ones
