Im not looking to enter him into any competition and I think he's an awesome fish but im by no means an expert on grading flowerhorns. Its a learning curve for me and its just fun to see what everyone else thinks. Thanks in advance!

You have to boost him more if your planning to enter a competition. Usually sizes starts 3 inch tail bone to tip of the mouth for small cat zz. You can change the background to blue/ white coz if you move him on competition tank there background would be either white or blue. Work on color and esp pearls so it wont have the mohawk look or balding.
