Mislabeling by anyone does not disqualify the individual from being exactly what it is. That's just simple fact ok?
And The flowerline can be however as long as the whole fish looks balanced to your eyes. Back in the days before king kamfas were created, the flowerline was a bigger deal. If the fish was plain with only flowerline as patterns then yeah it shall remain as something to critique.
This fish is a common grade srd, nice red and maybe future monster hump.
Not AAA and youll know it after looking at some more FHs on youtube
yo good morning all fellow FH keepers.Lol true when it comes to individuals but when it comes down to items based on quality I disagree. It's kinda like paying 3k for a watch and being told by the seller it's a unmarked Rolex.... would you pay for a champion blood line dog with no pedigree? I'm just saying if it's something special the seller should be able to tell you the breeder if not properly identify he fish and it's heritage.
Luckily, I didn't spend 300. I knew it wasn't grade AAA because it was pretty cheap. I was just curious what grade it actually was.I agree that it really comes down to the individual fish. It is always a gamble with flowerhorns even when the lineage is known for instance on myself like the check and see the parents of the future fish. As you stated super Crossing often yields variance in the fish even amongst the same batch so even having to look at the parents may not mean anything since the fish can vary. The only real information you gather from this is the least knowing that they have good genes. LOL I tend to be a little careful when I'm forking out 300-plus on a fish.
