so are male and female grammodes equally aggressive? and the same with salvini ?

thanks for the info i'm still not sure if i'm going to get one i really wan't them though

also does anybody keep these two together

and one last question is $8 a good price for a grammode

Got my male for $6.99 back in August. I've seen them for as much as $17.99 though atleast those are WA prices.

It all depends on how much YOU are willing to pay for it.

ohh i'd be willing to pay that but i'm not sure i could deal with the aggression now i'm woundering which is more aggressive

my grammodes are quite aggressive
i have one pair in a divided tank. the female is more ballistic than the male in this case.

i have another 'pair' in another tank with my much larger amphilophus altifrons and they are doing ok. they surprisingly haven't gone after one another, but the male is larger than the female in this case and shows her who's boss especially around feeding time.

my largest male isn't doing so well right now... got some kind of internal parasite that i need to clear out :(
otherwise if i manage get him going again and if he increases his appetite, i can see him turning out to be a real beast.

salvinis are fairly aggressive, but i wouldn't consider them to be hardcore bada$$es...

I keep my 4-5 inch grammodes with a 10-11 inch midas. They have a real mutt and jeff relationship. I think the following make it possible:

1 - the grammodes was there first
2 - the midas is so much larger
3 - the grammodes has caves to hide in when the midas gets playful

The grammodes would fit whole into the midas' mouth, but I have seen lip lock scars on the grammodes... so it is evident that they have danced.

i think i may have to wait for a few more tanks i really don't have room to move a fish if it is to aggressive
