Grammodes + Tank size?

Good post! I want to see some of these 12" grammies people talk about! On average, they don't get close to that -- 9" is a huge fish. A 75 is P-L-E-N-T-Y of space for a grammy and a few friends (cons, danios, etc.).

Haven't you had a couple large males? How big were they?

ive never seen a foot long grammode. even if they do exist it would take 4 yrs to get that big.

Yeah.....and I've got another on the way now.

I'd consider anything over 9" a pretty big fish (and females probably won't even get close to that). I've had a couple of males larger than that with the biggest something like 10" -- maybe bigger, but certainly not a foot.

I think Balton777 has pretty big Grammy and I know Polomax got some decent Grammies that may be 10"+.

I don't know but stop making my Grammodes look small and pitiful!

Mine grew from 5" to 8"(TL) in about 4.5-5 months. Hopefully he'll pass the 10" mark. If he grows 12" I'll do a happy dance.
