I have a 75g and i wanted a pair of grammodes. But now i am thinking of doing a cuban with a male grammodes will they get along or tear each other apart never had either type of fish before. What are some other things i could keep with them in a 75g and no i cant get a larger tank at this time. I just want to know if i can get away with them and what else can i add please help. Which ever i decicde i am putting a order in with Jeff Rapps in two weeks.

The pair of grammodes could work for a long time because of their slow growth rate. The Cuban Would outgrow the grammodes fairly quickly and you would probably get problems then. But a pair of grammodes should be just fine

prob not going to work out but u could try a divider for awhile and see how they react to each other and try to get the opposite sex of each other mybe they will pair up you never know till you try....

Grammodes have nice color but usually have a bad attitude and take on fish much larger than them regularly.

I would get a few Cubans, grow them out, and hold onto the nicest 1 or 2.

1. Cuban is going to out grow the grammode since they grow SOOOOOOO slow.

2. Grammodes are hard to pair as the males tend to kill the females, a divider is def recommended if you are attempting to pair them.

3. 75 gal is enough for a pair of either species but not together.
