Grand Sumo Fish Food

Hey MFKr's,
Anyone have any feedback on the Grand Sumo fish food? www.grandsumo.com I am looking to try it out because I just bought a baby flowerhorn, I just want to provide the best nutrition possible, so far from browsing the site, it seems like a great product.

no...it means you've fed them red pellets

Very good FH food! Quite possibly the best. I you can find it get it, you will be happy you did.

Right, but reading from their website:

"If the feces of the fish is reddish in color, this means that lots of artificial dye is in the food and cannot be digested and in turn, passed out. This is a telling sign that this food is using the “overwhelming” method to color the fish by pumping as much dye into the body of the fish. Some dyes will stick and some wont, the ones that stick will make your fish so-called red and pretty. The ones that don’t, will only make the water red and color the silicon glue or air pipes in your tank!"

I don't see why it would be harmful to other fish apart from the flowerhorns.

i use hikari cichlid gold and their crap is still red. that is supposed to be a high quality food, so i dont think its a problem
