I was able to get in and play but it was messed up I could not go to the race start but I was able to drive around the city like normal. But ya overall its still a bust.

Seems that initial tutorial and first race is buggy... Once i got past that part it was pretty much smooth sailing...
Online i must say is almost more immersive as well, the missions are definitely quite a lot of fun...

Me and my room mate still can't get past the tutorial, tried every suggestion we can find.

^ Yeah, i'm not sure what helped me get through it, i just kept trying to load it up...
Then it would sit on the loading screen for maybe 2-3 min and if nothing happened, i quit the game and re-opened it... then tried again...
I think i did this about 3-4 times, and each time i was getting a little further through the original tutorial, till i was actually able to load it and play it... but once i got past that tutorial, i haven't had any more problems...
Even had a few people invite me to missions on other servers and never had a problem thankfully...

I finally got in. The trick is after creating your character, dashboard if it won't load and then delete the update you had just downloaded. Then when you go back to the game, you have to redownload the update and it should work.
This tutorial is annoying though, how long does it last? I just want to play with my friends!

^ Tutorial is pretty quick, just basically the into is the tutorial, then while you are playing they give you tips on how to do things online which slowly unlock more things to do...
Its actually pretty quick, and isn't a proper tutorial per say, once you past that first race at the very beginning... then you're pretty much left to do what you want to do...

Tutorial took me an hour because I kept getting kicked for some reason. Then I spent an hour trying to get in a game with my cousin before just giving up. I'll try again today.
