Howdy,

It's Glossostigma elatinoides - an Amano hallmark

I kept it in Amano substrate once, but it never looked like it does in his tanks. ..

I would be very surprised if this wasn't the master's handwriting himself ... which answers your question :grinyes:

how did it stay on the bottom and what other types of grass are out there, i would like to do a tank with a grass bottom instead of sand , rock, or gravel. how about some other ideas and is it hard to keep clean or easier? HOLLA BACK

harlyK what's the grass in your background? i would like to do a loose type of grass for my bichirs to hunt from.

Actually from the pic the leaves seem to to be to small to be glosso. I think its Hemianthus callitrichoides. Hard to tell from the pic but i've kept both glosso and now growing Hemianthus callitrichoides in my tank.

Here is a pic of Hemianthus callitrichoides in my tank it hasnt fully covered the foreground but its getting there...not the best pic but its all I got at the moment

also the plant in the back looks like dwarf hairgrass.
