id go natural tan colored sand with a black background.

i know its not a jag but it can help you with your decision anyway. my dovii's colours POPPED with black pebbles/black background but when i put it in it's new tank - white sand/dark blue background, well... you can see the difference

go black/black for best results, IMO

as always white sand with black backing for me too. ive also seen the blue faded one work ok too.

cheers mate. i don't wanna take too much attention away from the thread but yeah both tanks have slightly different fluro's on them. BUT with the lights off the colouring is still very similar as in the pics.

she was alot less colourful in the second tank - white substrate with dark background
