only one of my orinos does it often but once in a while another will do it, the dive at the bottom or the driftwood and grind along side of it? no ich, no bad things in the tank all normal? what could it be? added a new fish started treating the tank with melafix for him a little beat up but nothing bad? any idea?
thanks in advance :D

You don't have to be able to see white spots for there to be ich necessarily... How are your water params also?

all my cichlids I ever had did that, I always thought it was like they were scratching their balls...

water is at 84 degrees and params are normal... maybe there just scratching there metaphoric balls lol

so this is the second morning that i have woken up and there be dead feeders at the top of the water, my tank has been cloudy for a few days i bought accruel to clear it up it is not working, my fish now have a white blotchy substance on them..... i clean my tank every 2 weeks, something tells me i need to clean it every week because this is getting frusteration... any suggestions? I treat the tank with, prime, have been using melafix for one of them and ocacionsally algae destroy.

bad water quality is usually the answer to most peoples problems.. what type of filteration do you have? how big is the tank? how big are your fish? how often to do you feed? ect

Yep... cloudy water is probably a high parameter... Ammonia burn on them maybe? Answer Boosten's questions... but you probably need a bigger tank, more filtration and definitely to do water changes weekly. I would over treat with prime right now also.
