I am on vacation for the next 2 weeks any my friend is taking care of my fish. I have é pairs of convicts and he says that there are some convict eggs and he wants to take the fry but he does not want to gravel vac since he is afraid of killing the fry/eggs would it be okay to gravel vac under theese circumstances or is he doing the right thing? Thanks.

Do you mean he wants to use the gravel vac to remove the fry?
If so, that should be fine. I've used this method to get the fry into a different tank.
