Find some really fine aragonite sand size is easy to clean. Or move to Atascadero the PH of the tap water is 8.2!!!! It really sucks for me R/O runs day and night!!!

Get some 10 micron pads and stick them in your filter. This is what I did years ago and it works to remove the floating sand that makes the water cloudy.I just put the pool filter sand in last nite..... it looks awesome but make sure to clean the hell of it. The small particles are floating everywhere. Even after doing a thorough cleaning. I did a 80% wc and its still cloudy. right after work im doing another wc proably 50-60%
