I use estes marine sand and never had any problems with it, i only clean the surface of it, i don´t stir the sand with my python, just recolect dirt from the surface of the sand, and then stir the sand to prevent anaerobic bacteria.

thanks for your experience or thoughts. i have never seen gravel that small in a long time hope to find some and i will try it for the next ray tank
