Isn't overstock unhealthy for the fish? Compation for food (but then again, there's plenty of that LOL), space, water quality, ect.?

Yes and no. Overstocking is not recommended but doesn't mean it always bad. This is typically true when you put a pacu in a 10g tank. This is definitely a Not to Do! Here is a perfect example, imagine two cities the same size in geography but one has a population of 10,000 and another has a population o f 100,000. Both cities are prospering. Whether you choose to live in a big city or small city is all a matter of preference. Would you still say it's wrong to overstock? I think it's a more of a matter of preference. Overstocking will lower the margin of error on food, water quality, etc. I have to monitoring it closely to make sure everything is running right.JawsKeeper;3545298; said:Isn't overstock unhealthy for the fish?
