OH
Hi everybody! This forum looks great. I am a passionate fish keeper, who used to have a few nice tanks set up when I was in my early 20's Then I went off to school, moved around a lot, etc. so I quit keeping fish for a while. I missed it a lot during that time. I didn't have fish for about 7 years or so. Then one day I saw a good deal on a kit at a pet store and I set up a peaceful community tank and I have been back in it ever since. I had a breeding pair of Red Belly Piranhas for years that were my favorite fish ever until they died, I have had a spotted gar, which was really awesome but I should not have bought because I didn't have a big enough tank for it once it grew. Some other fish in various community tanks I can't remember. Currently I have a very harmonious long-running 30 gallon with a clown pleco, 3 Cherry Barbs (used to be 5 getting a couple more when I can find some, they need company), 2 Cory Cats, 2 freshwater shrimp, a large freshwater clam, and a beautiful blue Betta named Mr. Sparkle. I also have a 55 gallon that I just bought for a very very low price because someone was moving, it contains 2 male convicts and 4 small females, and 2 plecos, but this tank is temporary, I plan on splitting the 55 gallon into 2 55 gallons as soon as the other tank is ready. I have never had any Cichlids but I have always liked them, however I did not know how prolific they are, So I plan to keep a breeding pair, the females, and find a new home for the other male & maybe a female. So that's my current situation regarding my tanks.
I would like to breed Piranhas again, so that's where I am headed. I want an enormous, insane, bloodthirsty school of ravenous Piranhas. :headbang2 Well, at least 20 or so, and well fed instead of ravenous! It has always been a little dream of mine, along with a saltwater tank, now I have the space to make it happen. Looking forward to to participating, & I'll get some pics up soon of my tanks. Later
